My Tesla does this too, without needing radar or ultrasound. Also works if parking spaces are not marked at all, just some other cars parked in an open space, parks between or next to the other cars.

By the time it's messed about parking I've already parked and am half way to where in going because I can park quickly and properly anyway.

It's funny, I've gotten used to this since the improved Auto Park update hit my grandma's Model 3 from 2018. Software update arrived just over a year ago.

indeed nice, our model y had that for a year or so now. super handy. But i wouldn't call it the most advance though. it's kinda normal for some cars now.
