When a supercell storm collides with tornadic energy, the results can be explosive. In 2016, a powerful system swept into Wylie, Texas in the middle of the afternoon. What began as harmless, pebble‑sized hail quickly escalated into something far more dangerous. Within minutes, hailstones grew to the size of golf balls, hammering rooftops, shattering windshields and smashing through windows of homes. Can tell this video made for people outside supercell areas. Your used to hail in Texas, nothing really special. You just accept it. Those kids/family in Wylie must have moved their from somewhere else. For dramatic effect. Hate that Texas is growing and these people are moving here. Give me the old Texas attitude. When we truly helped each other and knew what to do, and we the people fixed it ourselves !
Signs of the End Times: Jesus cited earthquakes, famine, and signs from heaven as precursors to his return and the end of the age (Matthew 24:7,. These are signs of the end of times and there's nothing that meteorologist or scientists can do to stop it. Jesus is coming back and sadly millions of people don't believe it
RIP WINDOW 1:27😊
Ill take 3m snow storm over this. Thats scary
Oh my God if I hear global warming one more time I’m gonna pop open a vein!
On my birthday 🫣
we had a hail storm in Odessa midland that puts that one to shame.
A "meteorologist" (Clare Nasir) claiming the Enhanced Fujita scale goes up to EF6 (34:46). It most definitely does not. EF5 is the highest rating. Her credibility just tanked.
2:25 idk but when someone yelled "THE TRASHCAN RAN AWAY!" i fckn lost it lolll
I love the way they talk about "nobody could foresee". Of course they could. Meteorology and proper disaster prevention planning can foresee and plan for a lot of things. That's what river gauges are for, having time to plan evacuations when water Rises, knowing the rainfall potential of a storm etc. The US just chooses to spend all its money on wars instead of disaster planning and mitigation, subsidisong disaster proof or resistant housing, equipment for weather monitoring etc. The US is an incredibly wealthy country that utterly refuses to spend money on protecting its citizens from danger, whether in healthcare or public planning and infrastructure for disaster resilience.
Hail no
This storm came after we had a hail storm just before this that dropped pea sized hail in massive volume and probably propelled by a down draft because it dented the crap out of cars. All of these tiny pea sized dents.
I've lived in Texas for 50+ years...we call this a thunderstorm, and the hail gets much larger.
I've seen grapefruit size hail. It came completely through the roof and ceiling sheet rock and landed in the livingroom floor. Only thing you can do is get under a table ot bed. That's bad !
Waco here.
23:44 We absolutely did have a clue.
Florida and Texas: where global warming goes to thrive.
I grew up in Texas and survived close encounters with six tornadoes. Baseball-sized hail. Hurricanes. Now I live in Maine, and I don’t miss that stuff at all! I’ll take cold and snow any day over that Texas weather.
I've lived in DFW for 42 years. I've always lived near DFW International Airport. I have never seen or been through a tornado. I believe the airport uses HAARP technology to literally change the weather. Whether it is used to divert or diminish storms from interfering with international commerce is up to a controversial inquisition. But I have been studying this phenomenon through weather radar patterns approaching DFW airport for 30 years. Other areas & Counties all around DFW get devastated; not here.... not ever here in my 42 years of living by the airport.
Fun fact, the weather is doing nothing new. The difference is that man is living in much larger areas and that means they are experiencing the weather more. Stop lying to make it seem new.
