With nearly 100 cars entered, the 40th anniversary edition of the Olympus Rally was a thrilling showdown in the forests of Washington State. Travis Pastrana and Rhianon Gelsomino set out for a Limited 4WD class win, and were fighting for an overall podium before disaster struck. With one day remaining, the team mounted an all-out push to climb back up the leaderboard for important championship points. Drones have completely changed how good these videos look.
Man what a wild event. Being there in person, not racing, really gave me a whole new perspective and watching team Subaru do what they do was pretty incredible!
Insane turnaround overnight by service crew
please come back to WRC we miss u
This is what you call Rallying!! Not just the same team/people, winning all the time because $$$
I LOVE SUBARU
Dude this is an amazing time to be a rally enjoyer. Lancia is back in Europe, and in USA some of the legends are also showing up.
Absolutely love what you guys are doing with the Limited Class content—as always, so good to see Travis and Rhi doing their thing, even when the chips don’t fall their way. Keep it up, we love you guys!
Let's go! Appreciate the effort to make this incredible sport popular in the US.
What you have done for this sport travis vary few will ever understand .... loosing your best friend but saving both your legacies... keep making rally what it is my friend!!!
Trav leading the way on expanding rally in America. Exactly what he set out to do with the limited car. Thank you Mr Pastrana.
What a shots!!!! Subaru Motorsports please come back to WRC and racing in Europe!!!
The fact they repaired all that and did an engine swap for good measure just blows my mind. Wild to see what a well oiled machine can do on the maintenance front!
Also got to see team and car in person for the first time for the Friday Expose at Toyota of Olympia. Amazing energy and the crowd was huge, the lot ran out of parking not even 30min into official start time. I've always loved the coverage Subaru of America provides but man what a treat to see in person!
Well, this was a weird coincidence.. Felt the need today here in a warm London (for once) to wear my Subaru WRT Shirt... Then this video pops up in my Subs... ❤️ SUBARU MOTORSPORTS USA/VSC.. Go Team Subaru ❤️ 💪 👍
Loved spectating this event for the second time. What a cool roster with the RC2 cars, plus the historic Group B cars that were brought out for fans to see even if they weren't racing. Also, one of the spectators had a 911 Dakar which was neat! Everyone I talked to was super chill and we were able to get some really great seating for the second runs on Saturday and Sunday. I'm so glad we have this event in Washington!
Thank you editing team for, going long, with the fuel pump issue and showing the dialogue between TP & Rhi, that was wicked and showed how the both of them have to know more than just going fast
2:40 drone through the trees. Banger shot!
i am going to the event in TN in September. It will be my first live rally experience.
I love this sport I love subaru!
