As mark webber said "If your gonna race cars, your gonna crash cars"
I just saw Travis Pastranas video the other day where He flipped his car. i saw you wearing a neck brace standing at the back. Speedy recovery Man.
YouTube really tried to hide this from me for 30 seconds
ight so ryan broke his neck, can we at least get this video to 1m as a consolation prize?
I've been following this journey since shortly after it started, before the rally car was even acquired and never have I been so engrossed in a story like this one. I love me an underdog story, and with your Rookie year you've been delivering in spades, but this video felt like a culmination. Like McRae, a fuck up followed by a jaw dropping rally (pun kinda intended) back to the top. I know this isn't the end, or even the stopping point for this era, but it feels like it. A sunsetting of the first steps, and Season 2 begins with a knocking down a peg. I know life isn't a storybook, but Ryan and Chris have been making it look like one, which means when the new ride comes they will climb to the top again. One man with a dream and a couple of friends. What a wild ride its been, and I can't wait to see the miles to come!
You have inspired me to purchase a 04 wrx that I have spent the last year and a half quietly rebuilding it in a barn. I cannot wait to have it going again and start entering it in local events. Thank you
Can I suggest, add distance refferences from tripmeter and some landmarks to your pacenotes. Those notes don't have to be read out loud, but are more like extra notes for your codriver to navigate better so he can check himself, if he is on the correct note and reading pace. Me and my codriver started doing it, and now he is so much better at giving me the notes at the exact time I want, and he can quickly find the correct note he has to be on, if he makes a mistake.

You got me to buy a g920 and spend hours calibrating settings to get into rally sim. Thanks I like it a lot!
Great co-driver! Calm and collected even when super disappointed. His only mistake was not telling you, "Samir, your breaking the car," when you hit the first snow bank. That would have made the 2nd one not happen.
Our first merch drop is here! For rally nerds only 😉: /
Reminds me of the first time I drove rally with my cousin in his 2000 2.5rs way back in 2002. At the time we were participating in every amateur event we could in Colorado and the surrounding states. We did an event outside of Fruita in mid January. It hadn't snowed in several days so the snow that was present was super slushy. Long story short, I caught a decent sized puddle of water/slush and the sudden temperature shock to the right front brake rotor caused it to shatter. The rest of that stage was probably the most scared I had ever been inside of a vehicle. Good times though. I'll never forget all the fun we had.
Keep it up Ryan! Super legit to show people the real side of rallying and everything that comes with it.
I have never been hooked more on a series on youtube, let alone TV. You are genuinely the epitome of determination and will, so happy I have been watching you achieve this insane level of achievement. What a great showcase of what it means to chase your dreams and become what you want. God bless you man.
Tragic, but hey that's what rally is. Great video
As someone who knows nothing about rally, and as a Youtuber - much smaller channel, kayaking based - I love every part of this. The way it is shot, edited. It is everything I want my channel to be. If only I could make a kayak go 100 in the snow around hairpin turns.... Keep it up.
your codriver is an absolute boss. calm and collected the whole time.
Take care I hope you both have a swift recovery.
tragic ): get better soon!
Just found your MTB channel. I thought that i was going crazy seeing the same guy.
