FULL ONBOARD - SS18 Katsuta/Johnston | WRC Rally Islas Canarias 2026

I felt more excitement watching this single stage than watching the three F1 races we've had this year combined. WRC is the last great display of pure driving talent and courage and long may it continue to do so.

These roads are just perfect for these cars. Its so smooth, flowing and technical and lovely scenery. Happy we have it in the WRC

The amount of focus & skill required to drive a car at that level is amazing!!

Just wanted to say huge thanks to FIA & WRC for these high def onboards and the newer longer format. Us freeloadin scabs wholeheartedly appreciate it! In all seriousness though, some peeps just can't afford a subscription so thankyou bewy much!

Canarias rally, awesome race weekend

Just took a moment to watch this recording full screen with sound up - Aaron speaking instructions to Taka, Taka listening to instructions on what to do in about 2-3 seconds time, watching the road he is currently on, the road that is approaching him, remembering what Aaron said about the part of the road he cannot see, listening to the engine, changeing gears up and down, breaking and adding a touch of handbreak and releasing the handbreak at the right time...... AND steering the car while accelerating and decelrating - UFF TALK ABOUT MULTI TASKING! 😎

景色がとんでもなく綺麗。道路もいろんなカーブが次々と出て来て飽きない。ここをこんなアクセルべた踏みで走り抜けるのはホントに楽しいでしょうね。

I've always been a fan of circuit car racing (f1, wec, le mans, gt3 etc.) and also motogp and sbk, i can't believe i'm only beginning to watch rally racing this year. These drivers in my opinion requires a different level of "insane" along with motorbike riders, it gives me isle of man tt vibes. The commitment to speed in some of those sections scares me... very skilled drivers and co-drivers, damn I'm a fan now that's for sure!

Taka has such a great sense of sportsmanship. One of my favorite drivers out there today.

The commitment through the high speed is crazy no holding back and full trust the rear wont go loose

As a transportation engineer, I have to say guardrails aren’t meant to hold in a car going that fast. They definitely don’t work if they’ve been hit. All the drivers needed to assume they drove with an exposed cliff. Incredible!!! One of the few rally stages that were scary to watch.

That was not a drive, That was a Dance. The Car looked so dynamic like figure skating on the Road. Absolute Cinema!

More corners in 7 minutes then F1 in a full season😂. Great to see👍🏻👍🏻
