Some of this gear is currently 40% off 👀 🏍️💨🏕️ This is my go-to cold-weather motorcycle camping gear from @SeatoSummitGear As y’all know I do a lot of cold-weather camping, so staying warm is a must! 👉 Telos TR2 Bikepack Tent: (https://bit.ly/3Eu0BDU) I love that this tent uses a shortened pole system so that it packs up nice and tiny! I’ve used it in the rain and colder weather and it’s been both insulate and has kept me dry! 👉 Altitude II 15°F Women’s Down Sleeping Bag: (https://bit.ly/47ZoYGR) I bought this bag from @rei a few years ago and it’s been on every single motorcycle trip I’ve taken since. This bag has seen well over 50 nights of camping and I don’t see that changing any time soon! It’s packed with features that make it great for cold and “cool” weather camping! 👉 Extreme Sleeping Bag Liner: (https://bit.ly/3R2iPUm) As someone who tends to get cold easy, I love to have this with me just in case I need it. It’s come in handy plenty of times when I haven’t had a well insulated sleeping pad (which I do now, see below) 👉 Ether Light XT Extreme Sleeping Pad: (https://bit.ly/3SQskXD) I just recently upgraded to this pad for cold weather camping, I’ve never been warmer. That 6.2 R-Value makes all the difference. I slept for 8 hours straight a few of the nights on my recent trip where I tested this pad out for 7 nights straight. It was a game changer. I love how comfy and quiet it is and that the bag has a pump sack built in to it! 👉 Aeros Premium Pillow: (https://bit.ly/3SRaXGi) I got the size Large and I am OBSESSED. It’s perfectly plump and my neck never feels strained. 👉 Big River Dry Bags: (https://bit.ly/46lTjOt) tested and true! Been using these for the past three years to store my camping gear! Sea to Summit is having a CRAZY good sale on camping gear, including their sleep system gear and awesome camp kitchen equipment. Sale ends THIS Monday 11/27! God I want to do that so bad, someone should do more content on motorcycle camping
This video still gets tons of views almost two years after I filmed it! If you want to see what I'm currently using, check out this blog: /motorcycle-camping-gear/
Every camping kit video for motorcyclists should be like this one short, sweet and to the point
Great video thank you very well done.
Now that is a great setup for any sort of camping.
This is a great video Staci! Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this. Ride safe!
Very insightful!
You’re living the dream!
You are on it..😊 Thank you for the info and all the gear you showed us. Take it easy on the road. STACI, You have a great time Hug from Goose_HD
You had me at R Value
Me too enjoy camping trips taking long way round
That looks like a sweet setup I like it 😁
Love the set up, it's amazing what little stuff can make something so comfy 😂 I usually pack a Vango Nevis 1 man. It's big enough to pack all my kit into overnight with plenty room for me to sleep as well I do the same thing of making sure my sleeping bag and mat fold away small enough for a 25ltr bag
Nice 👍
On the road again
I love solo hiking and camping! The idea is to get away and decompress. Being alone makes it happen more easily. :)
Commenting to bookmark hooefully when i get my bike.
Awesome setup! What brand sissy bar bag? Thats the perfect size.
Absolutely love my Haven Tent. Being a solo camper, you should try it. I have been motocamping since the 1980's. The Havent Tent is by far the best sleep out riding that i have ever got. The mattress has more R value. I think its 7 or 8. Fast easy set up. Zero soreness the best day, if no trees, it works great as a groubd tent as well. Attach one end to handle bar and the other a pole. To keep the shape. The issue you may not like it how many riders come into your camp to check it out. Not very many nights that i have used it, did no one come into my camp and ask about it. And many want to lay in it just to see. Trust me. You get this. You wont use anything else ever. I have very expensive Nemo tents sleeping bags and mattresses. Yeah, no thank you. I would just throw them away if given to me. In fact sold all my camping and sleeping systems. Yeah about $5000 worth. If its a know sleep system, i have tried it. Zero interest in ever trying anything else ever again. Get the XL. Im a tiny guy eo the extra room is very nice.
