You've reached the end
This bike was supposed to be launched in India this year end. Yamaha decided against it as an average Indian height is 5 6".
Don't be fooled. Height alone is not decisive. Body proportions are also an important factor. I'm 5'7, and on my Ténéré, I feel good. I have a friend who is as tall as me, but his legs don't reach the ground. His legs are just shorter than mine, and his torso is longer than mine. That's it!
Adventure bike can make an average person look like a kid
I’m like 5’9 and my t7 fits me perfectly, don’t let these vids scare you away it’s not a “huge” bike like everyone makes it sound. It just feels like a heavy dirtbike
I'm 5'8" on a '24. I commute every day in NYC and run single track upstate on the weekends. The seat is high but I don't feel out of my element on it. It feels like a heavier MX bike to me, like 2xMX bikes lol.
I feel like this motorcycle is just made of me, i have long limbs & my height is 6'1" 😂
Short riders on huge bikes are awesome
Even at 6'4" I still need to do the leg hang to get my feet down on my DR when off-roading. Sometimes you lose balance over a hole or between peaks. It's very much a necessary skill for everyone.
I've got a 29 inch inseam, and my XR600R was my daily transport for 3 years. 39 inch seat. If I had a foot down I was slid so far off to the side that my other foot didn't reach the peg. Plus, it was kick only. You can ride a tall bike with short legs.
Thank god I'm 6,4
Beautiful bike.
Gotta learn that rolling mount and dismount.
You guys are absolutely awesome! Product stars in the making & in the universe 🙌👌
Now just imagine the xr650's 37" seat height
I’m 5’6 and can ride the t7, although I only touch one side
5’2”? Try 4’10” which is what my wife stand at. She’s been wanting to ride for years. The best option I can come up with is a trike! ✌🏽
You also have to take into consideration that the bike will squat a little when you sit on it depending on your weight. 33 inch can quickly become 31.5 under my weight. 😊
I did a clutch replacement on one of these and I’ve never been on one and when I did the test ride it was one of the best test rides ever. I liked how this bike road and how tall is that. I’m usually on Harley’s or sport bikes so this was completely different from what I’m used to.
I’ve got a triumph scrambler 1200 which is also a tall bike, love being up higher than normal because it gives a better view and feel. For me anyway.
Bikes need automatic deploying side stands so that whenever bike is slow and tends to fall, side stand deploys.
