Transalp and Africa twin ruled in the past, but from the moment they introduced so many electronics and changed the V engine, TNR700 become the king!
Where's the Harley Panamerica Special?
I bought a bmw R1300gs in 2024. Lots of electronic gremlins the first year but now seem to have settled down. It’s a great bike for touring. The seat is super uncomfortable though, need to upgrade from the aftermarket. The bike is good, can’t deny it, but omg it’s HEAVY. Even with the bike lifting itself for the centre stand, it’s still a HUGE effort to lift the bike on the centre stand. If you’re alone on a trail and you drop the bike, you will not be able to lift it unless you’re Arnold Schwartzenegger. It’s also expensive to maintain. IMO it’s more a tourer with light off-road capability for the average rider. Honestly, I’m not passionate about my big GS, and I’m considering swapping it for a transalp this year, or I would love an Aprillia tourag but no dealer in my city.
I'd take the Ibex 450 over a RE Himalayan. Almost a crime to not see it on this list
The BMW.. Please.

Sorry, but that's nonsense. Bmw...
What does it tell you about these bikes when the crew at Cycle World unanimously said that if they were going around the world on a motorcycle they would choose the Kawasaki KLR650? This was in a podcast on YouTube about 8 months ago. They ride all the bikes we wish we could but they all settled on the Grand Old Man of ADV bikes as the best choice. Ryan at FortNine said the same.
Good, make a video for offroad or dual sport bikes also
Making this video in 2026 without putting the Multistrada V4 as number 1 is disrespectful...
Gas gas es 700 350 lbs and great WP suspension 😊
Lmao... this list is too funny
