Solo motorcycle camping by a river at the base of a vast canyon. In this video I am riding to a place that I am very fond of. It's a place that I have gone hiking around and camped at with friends for years. I had been meaning to camp out here this whole season and I finally made it happen. I couldn't have asked for better conditions- the weather was warm, wild berries were getting ripe, I didn't have to compete for a camping spot, etc.. It was super awesome and I'm glad I went. Hope you guys enjoy the video. Viewers- If you are familiar with this area, please keep trail/road names, coordinates, and locations out of the comments section. For a deeper explanation for why I don't publish trail names/locations look down below 👇 Riding and video work are my two favorite things that I do and I devote a substantial amount of my time to it. I make these videos for entertainment, to inspire the riding community to get out there and explore, and because I just like the creative process of making videos. That said, I have seen the unfortunate after effects of 'leaking' a location on the internet. Sometimes the people you don't want to see on a trail show up and leave trash or ruin the place for everyone else and it sucks. I find trails through a whole bunch of methods, but I have no more access to these places than anyone else. Its all public access. I don't want anyone to think that I am trying to stop people from riding where I ride because thats not the case at all. Its kinda the opposite actually. If theres anything I could give to the OHV/Dualsport/ADV community, its the inspiration to grab a map and go explore new places. By not spoon-feeding trail info to people it leaves some work involved in finding these places which filters out the vast majority of the shi**y people you don't wanna see there. If you ever meet me in person come say hey and I would be so stoked to talk about cool rides to do. I just don't want to do it here. I'm sorry if this frustrates any of you guys because thats not my intention. My goal is to make sure I am doing good by the riding community with my content.
Hey, I just came across your channel recently. I’m a 24-year-old guy too and I love riding my enduro bike. Sadly, I’ve been stuck in bed for the past couple of weeks because of an injury, but your videos have been a real light in the dark, they help me feel that sense of freedom again. Really appreciate it, man. thank u so much!
Haha. 24. Your stoked. I’m 54 doing the same shit as you. You got plenty of time. 🏆
I am 74 and still solo camp. It’s all about inner peace
If cougars scare you, avoid fred meyer in eagle at all costs 😂
I actually prefer these types of trails, at 55 years old with my KTM 690 I can ride these trails all day and really soak in the scenery. Your last video or the one before it where you were rock crawling would wear me out mentally and physically.
you should bring a gun, a garmin in reach GPS and a sawyer mini filter out there bro. Used to ride NW Montana and had to be prepared
A slice of heaven.
Absolute zen. 🌠 Thanks for that, Jack. Oh, and a belated happy 24th birthday to you. 🎂
I really enjoyed this more laid back and kind of personal mild solo trip. Keep it up.
Nice ride bro. Beautiful camping spot. It's crazy how life fly, enjoy it the most you can, ride safe! I'm 33 now, and I always enjoyed camping, recently I bought a bike but never had a chance to make a camp travel like that, so I'm willing to do very soon. Cheers from Brazil!
Dont take this wrong. Everyone is different. I might take a gas saw on my rzr camping. My drz just a hand saw. The extra weight ect. Maybe im wrong, just seems extream on front of bike. Trail clearing can understand. Fun riding idk.
Man, that is like the best campsite ever and yes, you are very fortunate to be able to ride there from home. Thanks.
Man I've seen those same stars many times. We camped not super far from that spot a couple years back. Got up in the night and looked up and was blown away! What a place that is. Better bring a spinning rod next time!!! Enjoyed this one man. Camera is lookin tack sharp!
