If you’re into real motorcycle adventures, off-road travel, and want to see what it’s like to ride solo through some of the most challenging terrains in the world, this video is for you. Expect wild landscapes, breakdowns, unbelievable kindness from strangers, and a no-BS take on what makes the best adventure bike. Hit play and see why I believe the Honda CRF250L is the ultimate travel machine. The CRF250L carried me through everything: icy roads in France, breathtaking coastal routes in Spain, and the grueling sand dunes of the Sahara desert. Along the way, I met incredible people, including a barefoot local named Hasan who took my bike for a joyride in the middle of the desert. And the craziest part? Back home in my garage, I had a brand-new Yamaha Tenere 700 waiting for me—bought specifically for this trip. But after some test rides, I left it behind. Now, after 25,000km, I know I made the right choice. This video is not supposed to hate on big adventure bikes as they certainly have their place. I just want to offer a different perspective from an average rider. The Honda CRF250l isn’t perfect, yet it is perfect for me. 0:00 Intro 1:40 What I did with this bike 2.35 The motorcycle 3:35 Chapter 1: The good 5:37 Chapter 2: The bad

Mustaffa actually brought me to tears. What a man.. Make him famous and reward him
Got robbed in Europe and helped for free in Morroco. I know a lot of people that would be scratching there skin hearing this
Mabuhay Mustaffa! We need more people like you around the world...
Big props to the helpful mechanic, you rock dude!
I really wanted a Tenere - they're sick looking bikes and no doubt they rip; but the more I read about them, the more I saw reviews from average riders saying that a Tenere is a LOT of bike to handle when things get technical or tricky. I then had the privilege of riding a 300 rally over 700kms in Costa Rica in a week last year. That experience sold me on snagging a 300 rally when I got back home. I've had that bike for about a year now and couldn't be happier with my decision. Light bikes for the win!
The 250L and 300L are a modern classic. Such good bikes.
This is the most important message to all people who wants to go on adventure bike trips. Choose the bike you are most comfortable with, not the most power or tech. You don't need 700 or 1200cc's to have fun. This is why I will never sell my suzuki drz400. This is the most reliable motorcycle I've ever owned. I store this bike for 1 or 2 years at a time, put on fresh gas, oil and a battery and it fires up in an instant. This thing has never left me stranded!
Mustafa is a bro. 😂 Thanks for sharing your amazing journey. I have a crf250l as my first bike, and at times I wish I had a tenere instead. Thanks for helping me appreciate my bike more!
250+ Kg behemoths make you dream of adventures; 150 Kg small duals make you live them.
International travel terrifies me. Videos like this give me hope in human beings. Bless you sir! 🙏
Is getting harder and harder to find good interesting videos here on shit tube. I finally found one. 👍🏼
This is such a first rate production. The writing, the camerawork, the music and editing. I hope people appreciate how hard it is to get such great shots while on the road. Thank you for offering really good cinematography instead of just mind-numbing POV helmet cam shots that just go on and on for the whole video! Your cogent and fair evaluation of the motorcycle is really appreciated as well. As an owner of a big GS I am interested in getting something smaller (perhaps MUCH smaller) so I can enjoy myself more on the trail. So this film was helpful. Thank you. I look forward to you making the 1,000,000 subscriber mark.
Light ,manoverable, engines that start every time all day , all night. Ridden all Hondas in the lightweight capacity through cambodia, honda 250 xl degree, Vietnam crf 15O , Thailand the Rally 250 cc , Philippines the crf 250 ,and gonna be riding the Baja 250 cc in Sri lanka...so to those big bike "Adventurer's"!! , who pass me with their noses way up high and their sidepacks loaded like camels , are probably the same ones who never see off road experiencing the real freedom that these Little tough guys give you 😊😊😊 Great video man , keeping it real and simple
Bought a DL650 vstrom, enjoyed it for a year, sold it, bought a R1200gs, found it to expensive to maintain, sold it, bought a 08' KLR650, I'm a happy man 😂
That part with Mustafa gave me tears in my eyes
All those big bikes are great for touring, but when it comes to offroad, headache-free rides anywhere in the world, from the most developed countries to the least developed, these 200-400 CC bikes are more than enough. Dont know about other countries, but at my place, the inhabitants of some of the most challenging areas (high altitude, no roads, only boulders, no railings, deserts and all where getting access of water is a dream) mostly ride commuter bikes, ranging from 100 to 150 CC. Those are reliable, tech-free, and return really good mileage.
Mostafa just represented his country 💚💚💚💚
The CRF250/300 are super cool bikes, I live in the Western US and have endless roads to ride. So I just went to an old skool -83 Honda XL600R that can do plenty of highway speed and still keep 327pounds wet weight.....and can do 95Mph.
Thanks for the awesome video..! I just recently bought similar dualsport, a Kawasaki KLX250s. I think I love my bike for all the same reasons you love yours. I’m a youthful 60 year old that hasn’t ridden since I owned a street bike in the mid 80’s. It’s been refreshing and exhilarating to get back in the saddle again after all these years. I looked first at Hondas in the used market but decided on a low km (8000km) Kawasaki because of price point. Here in Canada, they are usually about $1000 less than a comparable Honda. What I learned in my research as you mention, the Honda is bulletproof reliable but lacks in suspension. The Kawasaki seems to have a better suspension (at 73kg it more than handles my weight) close to similar reliability but carbureted not fuel injection. I’ve only put about 500km on it so far but look forward to some Canadian adventures where the mountain trails and gravel backroads begin are less than 20lm from my home. Wishing you many safe rides and adventures ahead, Cheers..!
Welcome to Dualsports, the perfect bike
