I remember watching Dick Aldous riding his Vincent at Snetterton in the sixties. It was magnificent and he rode in two piece leathers so as he came down the Norwich straight it was like watching a large toad approaching the hairpin! Happy days!
Old del does like to help devalue prewar in any chance he gets!
That’s how l remember my fellow English men , and acted with dignity and respect , God bless you all
The old Vincent found the right buyer
I remember changing down to second gear at 50mph on my Vincent and accelerating up a hill. The guy behind me on a Kawasaki dropped his jaw.
I remember staying on a caravan site on the IOM in the mid-80s and the guys on the site next to us both had immaculate shiny Vincents during the Practise Week. They had real style and sounded beautiful. My Honda CB750K in those days was a pretty nice machine, but nothing like the Vincents!
It is hard to believe the loss in market value for all these collector Cars and Bikes. Love your channel!
As probably said before, this is better than anything on mainstream TV today and have enormous respect for these guys who are prepared to put their hard earned cash on the line to preserve these motoring gems - God Bless them all.
The late Dave Scott was a wonderful bloke and full of humour 😂

"They won't achieve what they're worth...". Well, yes, they will achieve what they're worth, the whole point of an auction is to find out exactly what something is worth.
Well done the chap who bought the Vincent. I live in Cornwall too so, will keep an eye out on sunny days.
Not greedy . . . the Pilot would do me
