8:15 In most states, you're supposed to turn into the nearest lane of traffic. Not doing so nullifies your right of way during a protected left turn.
#24 @ 8:15 - Okay this one is a bit murky and both people are in the wrong.. By Michigan law, if these cars collided on this turn the cammer would actually be found partially at fault (not primary fault, but partially). The white SUV technically ran a red and would be primarily at fault, however the cammer is also supposed to turn into the CLOSEST lane going in their direction, by Michigan law (Which was the left lane obviously, in this situation). If you want into the right lane you're supposed to signal right and merge over AFTER your left turn is fully completed.
