In Example #15 from Shelby, North Carolina, the POV driver intentionally prevented the car in the right lane from doing a Zipper Merge, and was lucky that the other driver was not more aggressive and willing to cause damage. Drivers should use both lanes, and increase the gaps between cars to allow merging, until the actual lane closure, not "see the sign" and merge early while driving so closely to the cars in front of them that the drivers in the closed lane cannot merge without stopping until someone else lets them in. In Example #19, the car in Lane 2 was displaying hazard lights when the POV driver decided to undertake in Lane 3. The POV driver was required to allow the car in Lane 2 to move to the shoulder, or overtake using Lane 1.

#24 @ 9:47 - the black car was showing hazards and obviously trying to get over. Cammer (and the other passers) should have let the black car over instead of passing recklessly. The black car may have stalled and was possibly coasting to the shoulder. Be kind - give the other drivers a break ppl.
