The ending had my friend and me saying, "What, that's it?" Then we literally laughed out loud. 😂😂😂
Great review! This movie is definitely a must see for horror fans. Unsettling perfectly describes this movie, as I found myself consistently squirming in my seat. Every time she looked over her shoulder while she was listening to the audio brought me back to those feelings you would get when you walk by an empty room with the light off and you peek in wondering if something is inside. Brilliantly done.
It literally told us what happened when she had the nightmare of her waking up at the bottom of the stairs without child anymore
so I was kinda upset with how the movie ended but now that I’ve watched this to better understand, I see how beautifully done it was for it’s purpose. it’s supposed to leave you thinking ‘what?? that’s it?? what even happened??’ and it has been on my mind ALL. DAY.
This movie isn’t good
Through the whole film we only see one reality which is through Evie. Everything made sense on the ride home after the movie. Asked myself..why was the bed perfectly made at the end, why the recording said Justin.. things like that made me think those audio files were her and Darren and that everything played out in her mind from possession and psychosis and her mom was gone the whole time. Chime in on this..did anyone think the same thing? Was a wild movie
It was a very unsettling horror film. One of my favorites.
I like extremely scary horror and this movie isn't that great for me ....not worth what I paid to rent it .....I need some super scary movies and there is none left to watch
She's a goner. She made the very conscious choice half way through the movie to drink - harming her child.
Think itwas both, a psychological break down and demons, her demons,Her shame, guilt and break from reality
Not a fan as 93 minutes was way too long to watch one character listening to audio files. The ending didn't make up for it either. Yes the audio was creepy however it didn't make up what was visually lacking
It’s an X-files episode. But Scully and Mulder would have done better.
The better horror movies rely mostly on the visuals , the audio comes second. This movie was mostly about the audio and should have been a podcast. It's literally watching a podcaster asses creepy audio files , which is not enough . The visual and audio telling of the story is most impactful imo. The ending was not enough to justify the boring hour wgwre nothing happened.
The best way to watch it is at 3 am with your headphones on close to your tv
Lmao dude this is too artsy of an explanation. Go write poetry or something 😂
