What the hell are you talking about? John Carpenters thing is not just scary to see in its various designs, its even more terrifying to think about if you don't know who its currently mimicking! A Xenomorph drone, is a giant penis monster with sharp teeth claws and acid blood. It kills you, or get you pregnant, then you die from a creepy baby penis monster bursting out of you! Sure modern horror is not scary but, when you start saying dumb stuff I have to cook you.

If you notice at the end when shes spiraling theres no podcast equipment on the table, just the big drawing. Perspective and timeline distorted and cant be trusted

Did anyone else see Justin in the movie because I saw him… 😬 oh boy I must have hallucinated that. Yikes I also saw the mom’s mouth move very clearly but then today when I watched it again it was super subtle 😬😬

I've seen so many videos on undertone but none of them mentioned how in the last file jessa says "I have to warn her, she's listening" and then "justin I'm cold". My theory is that time is not linear in undertone and that is also a way how the demon is haunting Evy. I think both events of Evy, and Mike and Jessa are happening simultaneously but in different timelines. My other theory is that Evy's mother has already probably died according to her confession in the end. We get to know from the caller that Mike and Jessa lived in the same place as Evy. So maybe Evie had already heard and known of Mike and Jessa deaths and the details around it. She probably went into psychosis after her mother's death and her mind conjured up this whole elaborate story of the whole movie to cope with everything.

That movie blew chunks.

The really scared me about this movie is the horror reality of mother's killing their own babies due to mental illness like depression, stress, and schizophrenia. Every day, we see it on the news about it. Sadly, it has become a normal every day as we all can do is pray for the victims and only yell out justice. We hardly or avoid thinking what went through the mother's mind during the rampage murder then the suicidal. It's scary cause we don't wanna imagine it. The horror of that was all over in this movie, and it worked.

Finally someone who acknowledge the ceramic figurine reveal! I think the doll passed the curse onto pregnant mom but her prayer all through her childhood and adult life staved off the curse. As she’s getting older she asks Evey for help praying and when Evey declines the demon starts to grab hold. When Evey tells her mom she’s pregnant but isn’t sure she can be a mom then leaves to the the women’s clinic the mom gives the death rattle and dies taking away the last of the protection. Evey comes back home, pops the pills and goes to bed to be fully possessed then jumps off the stairs, licks the blood from her hands as she dies then wakes up hearing her ghost mom pray but it can’t help her anymore. This final act is Evey already dead on the phone with Justin and the other ghosts and demon. That’s why she looks and acts different.

I just want to know if Justin is okay.

It irks me when films try too hard to be thought provoking and mysterious. Just entertain me dude and give me a solid conclusion. Having too many questions in the end doesn’t make me think “wow that was so thought provoking and good” I’m actually thinking “wow i can’t get that time back” 😂

After a rewatch I noticed the creepy sleep doll is on Evys fridge at the end!

My mom is such a trickster that when I saw Blair Witch I just KNEW she was going to cover my room in those stick dolls and I was so scared to wake up. Thank goodness she never did it. I don’t think I would have recovered lololol 😂😂😂

“All in their head” *can* work well, given right film (The Night House was a great example. Strongly blurred the lines of surreal vs damning depression & trauma of loss; great horror movie) Here? Nah, def a supernatural targeting. My 2 cents anyway, but hey who am I- Evy’s situation & insecurities def do play out well! But that’s also exactly what makes the supernatural targeting feel much more palpable. + there’s enough in the background that Evy doesn’t even see that’s “meant for the audience” or atmosphere Great vid; will def be on the look out for more 👍👍👍
