I don't think this story is finished just yet. I think Stu is torturing Sidney psychologically first. He's TOYING with her, letting her SEE HIS FACE, but then he changes the rules to keep her guessing..... because he WANTS this to HURT. He WANTS Sidney to doubt herself...and that recording was just CRUEL. No way in hell they reveal something THAT BIG and then NOT do what we want really them to do.

Karl was underrated in my opinion. He was totally unhinged and just kept fighting. Usually a Ghostface will run away at some point. He wouldn't have stopped if Gale didn't run him over lol. Plus the stabbing through the wall and throwing all the pictures. He was aggressive like he needed the fix to kill them. He had already killed 3 women before.

Gale mentioned the opening scene deaths and is the reason she was there when she ran over the guy

I absolutely hated the end of this. Also graduating and seeing the original in theaters in 96, the way the hammered 30 years into my head was unbearable. Personal to me😅 the reveal was so disappointing. I would have loved for Stu to have been the other solo killer. It makes sense. This does not.

Scream 8 really needs to bring something very new, to become meta comment of all sorts of contemporary horror movies because it started to be a meta comment on many horror movies and thrillers and it became just a self-referencing franchise that tend to forget referencing much other horror movies (beside some little mention here and there like Scream 5 opening act).

Lucas's death was the worst death of the franchise! So bad! And absurd because it's his mum killing him and she wouldn't have the strength to raise him (mother pun intended). Marco was chasing Tatum (we know that because he mentioned that she missed his head shooting him) while the other ghostface was in the bar, so it was Jessica killing her son. And that's why it's not possible with her body strength. Also, Karl Allan Gibs not Carl. Also, there's only one ghostface at the theatre. We know Karl is in the attic during that time and Jessica is at home with Lucas, so Marco is the theatre killer.

I thought Mark, Sydney’s husband, was more like Dewey.

Let's talk theories and ideas: 1. We need Ghostface in the snow. Maybe even during Christmas. 2. It would be wild if our cast were all returning members from all 7 films, meaning legacy characters will die. 3. They've had the killers be family members of previous killers, but never the family members of previous victims exacting revenge on Sidney for their deaths. 4. It's heavily implied Stu is dead, but this could be a bait and switch for him to officially return in 8. 5. It's time we have a Scream that Ghostface gets away with it and maybe isn't captured till the following. 6. I'm against Sidney and Gale being a killer at this point, but Tatum literally lost all of her friends and experienced more loss than Sidney in one, she could be a killer.

I have a crazy idea for the identity of the Scream 8 killers. This reveal would take a page from Scream 3 and 4 but with a twist. Everyone would think there are 2 killers until the real ending. You see before Sidney met Mark Evans he was in a toxic relationship with a crazy woman (Woman X - killer 1). When Mark met Sidney (by chance) Mark ended things with Woman X, ghosted her and moved away with Sidney . However, Woman X was pregnant by Mark and due to the ghosting had a mental break. She gave birth in a mental hospital and her twins (killers 2 &3) were put up for adoption. These identical twins were raised separately and abused. When the twins turn 18 they find each other and track down their mom. They spring her from the mental institution. The 3 of them blame Sidney for taking Mark away. They like Roman wanted revenge for the life that should have been theirs. So they go to college where Woman X is introduced as a dean who wants to expel Tatum for safety reasons and the twins pose as 1 college girl who is friends with Tatum. The twins pull a switcheroo and you never know which twin is the one until the very end. The 3 of them stalk Tatum and kill her friends. However when the 1st reveal happens it is just one twin and the mom. At that point when everyone thinks the killers have been killed and Sidney and Mark show up to pick Tatum up from college and bring her home and then twin #2 pops up and kills Mark and seriously injures Sidney before being killed by Tatum.

I love how they did Deep fake as a message to the public that in the wrong hands could be a evil weapon. Directors and Actors both dislike it replace real actor for fake AI. For me I'm sticking to real actors, despite the add drama brought in the production.
