I love part 2 very much and the message behind this movie is simply brilliant and real. Easily my top 3 movie of all time!

I won't watch this movie because the idea that Miranda doesn't remember Andy is ridiculous. Or was that a joke? Anyway, I'm not feeling this movie.

This is the first review of the Devil wears Prada that I have read that gives a thoughtful analysis. This sequel actually shows the characters developing. It shows their growth, which we would expect after 20 years. Those that refused to grow after 20 years are nothing but narcissists. Miranda by the end of the movie, proves her self not to be one. Comparing this movie to the first is almost like comparing diamonds to sapphires. Thank you for this well thought out review.

I loved the movie and all the parts as is! Wouldn’t change a thing. I have never seen a sequel this good with so many of the “originals”. So good to see them!!!❤️🍷 They were all great!!!

Don't know if it's been mentioned but I loved the sweater Andy was wearing near the end was "cerulean blue" 😊

What clickbait. Nothing you said isn't what is already known by watching the movie.

I actually had more questions than answers and I was paying attention ...to look for a movie ending explaination means that the movie lacks clarity ... Thank you for you explanation !

Explained and summarised very well. And I agree, it's managed to excel the first one

I think this is a great explanation, but one thing I feel like you left out was the last scenes with Emily and Andy in the restaurant. It was gracious of Andy to even meet with her after what she pulled.

I thought the ending was a set-up for another sequel.

I felt like watching a documentary of the fashion industry. Not much fun, no real jokes, too long, too loud. 😢

Emily was a Bonified BeAch. Glad her bf ditched her. Hope he got that necklace back!!!

I loved the movie and I agree that it is a total depiction of what’s going on in the world today. AI is ruining so many things. Big companies are all about quantity and not quality anymore. It is only about the numbers.

But what happens to Amari, the 1st assistant? They congratulate her for her promotion, the 2nd assistant take over as 1st, but nobody says what Amari ends up doing in her promotion.

I enjoyed the original Prada too. I was shocked that the lady in charge of changing Vogue wasn't as mean as the movie's portrayal.

Sasha wins Ellis publishing with cash. Benji likely more structured

I feel like such a karen but the plot was so disjointed so i wasnt a fan of the story of the DWP2. Sure it had funny moments and a great line..maybe 2 but it showed us nothing of how the fashion world has changed. If you notice - these days its become very nepotistic. Ahem* except a jenna bush cameo, but the didnt show any of the top models today that come from famous rich familes and I felt like they strategically left that out which made the movie dull. I loved seeing the super models in the first one..even if they were downplayed as just a workers at the magazine. The movie didnt need the boyfriends and husbands. They weren't as relevant as the first movie. Miranda should of stayed divorced to maintain the realism of a woman who has made her life her career. Not to mention the prickly personality which isnt great for relationships. I could go on and on but there were too many plots. I would of narrowed it down to Emily being the antagonist and Andy being hired in a desperate moment to expose and take down Emily with miranda and Nigel to save runway. But instead we got Andy being hired to save runway from cancel culture. Andy writing a tell all book but then chickens out cause of a guilty conscious she ends up having after writing a whole book lol 😅. Andy running around for a 3rd of the movie trying to figure out how to save runway by getting an interview with a tech billionaires ex wife. Emily playing cloak and dagger to get runway for herself.. I feel like Im missing more plots! There's too many.

I worked with a woman who could be difficult and was not always popular. However her decisions and taste were almost always spot on. She would not accept anything short of the best someone could do. Miranda's vision was generally right which was why Runway was such a success for so long. With her willingness to change and include others' visions in a changing world she deserved to keep Runway.

i think Andy should have take over the Miranda's position, and Emily should have been her Merchandising Editor of Runway. and, Andy would have promoted Nigel to the position he wanted.
