I was 13 when this movie came out, it was probably the first “twist ending” movie I ever watched, and I love it to this day.

Michael Douglas is very good actor. In my opinion one of the greats. Always had the sort of suave roles in most of his films , and he is absolutely brilliant in The Game.

Underrated David Fincher movie great suspense thriller
I think the game/recreation aspect is a mask for a more Eyes Wide Shut theme. This movie was a peek into how "secret societies" manipulate people and influence even the most trivial moments in the lives of people they want access to.
I've always loved this movie. It's a lot of fun to pull out when people come over because most haven't even heard of it.

Such an underrated film. 1st time I watched it, early 2000's, I knew nothing about the film, what a gripping and stressfully enjoyment that was. As were repeat viewing witb friends. Thanks for the video
I remember reading the script for this back in 1995. I don't remember if it was Andrew Kevin Walker's draft or not, but I do remember it was his daughter not his brother who got the Douglas character involved in The Game and at the time, she was to be played by Jodie Foster.
