I watched the movie today and I really liked it. It was entertaining. I came home and saw online. A lot of people wrote. They didn’t like it and then it was boring. I disagree. I really thoroughly enjoyed it.
Damn the plot twist!!! And the way Emily's face changes when Andy realized she really was betraying Miranda was heartbreaking and iconic❤❤
If you truly follow the fashion industry, you will see that TDWP2 is addressing the dying print industry (fashion magazines earning millions from advertisements) and also why many top designers have bowed out one by one. In this day, the fashion houses are struggling to keep up with the fast paced digital world as well as designs being easily copied due to a world where everyone has cameras and sharing on social medias. The gatekeeping of exclusive rights practises like the 80s 90s and early 2000s have burst. People don’t wear high fashion anymore. The world has changed. The scramble to keep afloat is real as what the movie showed. Its almost like a documentary of the fall of fashion. But the director know what you came for and dressed Andy and Miranda and Emily just like how you want them to be. But here’s one more industry knocked down by “tech”. For those who condemned the movie, are you really paying attention to what has been going on around you?

I really enjoyed this movie. And this video sets out exactly why it's such a great continuation of the original story! (Also, did anyone catch the well-tailored, fitted sweater vest Andy was wearing in the last scene with Miranda? It was cerulean blue (but not the big bulky sweater - a very nice call back to the original movie)

This is nonsense. Miranda is not still Miranda at all. She not at all like the Miranda in the first movie. Its one of the biggest issues with this movie. If there was EVER a character that doesnt and shouldnt change in 20 years its Miranda. Shes modelled on Anna Wintour, has Anna's professional persona changed in 20 years, NO! This film was a perfect opportunity to be an expectation to the rule! They should of had her exactly the same trying to keep up with a changed world. Instead they have her as a mess in a changed world.
Watched it with my mom She fell asleep I thought it was written by ai Trying to find something to change my mind.. this .. also fell flat. I wish I coulda enjoyed it :/

Thanks for this interesting video. I saw "Prada 2" this afternoon. I thought it was long on style, short on substance, and I greatly preferred the first movie. Still, the cinematography was stunning, and the movie was actually filmed on location in NYC and Milan. There may have been some CGI, but most of the shots were authentic. For that, I am grateful!
The book part is much more than Miranda respecting Andy’s professionalism. It is about Miranda once again, at the end of the movie, recognizing a lot of herself on Andy. Just like she tells her on the first part. She knows that no one else can tell her story like Andy can, because they share their passion, professionalism, and work ethic. After listing all of her “flaws” she says “but I do love to work, don’t you?”
