Supernatural fans quickly recognized this as Rowena''s "attack dog" spell 😂
The last scenes were hilarious 😂
it was a good movie, but i agree, i found the reveal of "a witch did it" kinda disappointing.
That was not an explanation but more of a narrative version of the movie.
HELLO FOUND FLIX like how you do your Reviews can you please review the Movie DO NOT ENTER I tried looking for it on your channel but I didn't see it Much Appreciated
It seems like the more people Gladyus has under her control, the less of their life is taken from each singular person. So when she just had two, it took alot more than when Marcus was also under control while she had 20+? At the time.
I was hysterically laughing at the ending watching the movie 😂
2 parents and 17 kids under her spell? 2:17 seems relevant.
That's not an explanation of the ending, it's just a summary of the movie...
Can the time on the clock 2:17 also mean the 2 parents then the 17 children that were under the spell
My favorite detail is when she asks for the bowl, she mentions that is a quirk she doesn't even bother to explain anymore. Which can be taken as "I'm weird and I don't bother to explain it" or "I've done this so many times and know I dont have to give you an explanation to get you to give me the bowl so I won't bother"
One theory I have is that the dark magic Gladys was using to extend her life was simultaneously making her sicker. In witchcraft when one uses their own blood for rituals it takes time off of their own life. This is why you see people who partake in rituals like this using chickens or goats or other creatures. To preserve their life force. But to use human blood, and especially your own, would be the most effective. Thus the need for her to “feed” off of others like a parasite. She needs to renew her life force to keep herself alive but can’t stop using the magic as it gives her power even though it’s killing her, perpetuating a cycle. Almost as if she is addicted to it. Addiction being such a huge theme of the film, this fits. For me at least. That’s just my theory though.
I’m not going to beg you to cover it but I am curious on what’s your thoughts on Hell House LLC: Lineage. You expressed quite a bit of praise for the OG trilogy and still seemed to enjoy origins despite how clunky it was. Given the fact that lineage is the last in the series, I’m curious to hear your thoughts on it and how it concludes things-
Unpopular opinion: I liked Weapons. But I think its okay. It's didn't blow me away, as our host says.
I was disappointed this was not an original movie. This is just a remake of Witches from the 80's. I knew the whole story as soon as I saw the title screen. The triangle gave it away. If you updated Witches for the modern era this would be it. The rest was just a mash up of different movie styles we've seen a million times by now. I now know what my mom meant about you live long enough things start repeating themselves.
Your videos are so refreshing. It’s nice to see a person make these presentation type videos about movies instead of listening to AI slop robotically drone on about them.
can you do a vid on hell house llc: lineage?
My only issue with the story is like did the parents not have any friends at all
This director is the same guy from that gallon of pcp skit 😂
I thought the movie was going to be terrible. The movie was terrible. And you proved the movie was terrible.
