I hope they make more movies and that paramount learned their lesson and releases future movies in theaters. 🍿

I feel so bad for the creators because I can tell how much hard work went into the movie so I refuse to watch it until it becomes legally available

The fact that the guy on twitter is facing 7 years in prison but the person who sent it to them in the first place is facing nothing is downright criminal.

The “leak” was genius marketing to be honest . I watched it, and will rewatch it when it’s released. It’s amazinggggg

In all likelihood they're probably talking about bonuses, but more important than that, sometimes your whole career in an industry like animation or gaming IS what you make. If you work on a movie and it absolutely shits the bed, that studio might not hire you anymore. Other studios might not hire you either. Leading you to a point where you don't have any more work, and you're essentially pushed out of an industry because you worked on a movie that should have done well by all metrics. Especially when these industries are making more money than ever, but companies are laying off more people than ever. There's less incentive to keep you as a worker, or hire you in the first place.

I work in animation. I dont believe the animators would get bonuses but honestly the excitement about release and everyone in the world experiencing the official release does wonders for morale and is often the thing that keeps you working on long projects. To have it leaked is an emotional gut punch to any artist who has poured years of their life into a project.
