You've reached the end
Paramount blaming the audience and putting it on Paramount+ for less profit instead of admitting that they are incompetent
Paramount not putting this in cinema is CRIMINAL
Literally didn't hear anything about the movie till it got leaked
It ain’t the leakers that pulled it from theatrical release, paramount did
At this point, Paramount could spin this into a positive marketing move and release it in theaters with the hope that people will go out to support the movie because of the leaks
It's not too late for Paramount to use it as free PR and put it back in theaters.
It's not about them getting paid. It's about the studio making enough to greenlight more products they get to work on
They need to release it in theaters
Paramount essentially held the movie hostage trying to use it as leverage to sell their shitty subpar subscription service with no promos, no theatrical release, essentially dooming it to fail and they wanna run this blame campaign on the fans basically blackmailing us with the context of "we have the power to kill your favourite franchise so either give us money or watch it die"
I would definitely watch it in theaters. The studio that worked hard on it deserve the extra rewards for giving us Avatar fans what they wanted all along
Yeah I was thinking "yeah we should support them" but then I remembered I would sail the seven seas anyway cause I ain't paying for a streaming service. I would have only payed if it was in cinema
Fam, if the movie underperforms, there wont be a second one
Imagine not putting an entire generations founding myth on the big screen. Fumbled bad.
Saw it, but if it was in theaters I'd still watch it there, a film like that needs the big screen.
Basically Paramount pissed off the wrong people/person and they did it to themselves.
I don’t feel bad about hypothetically watching it early since I’ll go watch it in theaters regardless. If it was on Paramount + I wouldn’t have watched it anyway lol.
The reason the animators don't want it leaked despite being paid already is because if the studio doesn't make money, they wont make another movie, which should be bloody obvious. Paramount might have chosen to not go for a theatrical release, but the leaker is destroying any chance of new movies being made in the future.
It's about future work not extra money if it fails it affects the animators job portfolio and how frequently they will get new projects and raises
They leaked it themselves because Paramount moved it to their streaming platform instead of releasing it to theaters. They are mad that their bonuse got cut down to only Paramount plus subscribers instead of theatrical release. Huge money loss for them so they leaked it to sabotage Paramount.
Bro the animation is eye candy we gotta support the animators for their hard work because animating is such a time consuming and difficult skill
