People need to realize that this isn't a fight over Nate, Maddie is so done with him. This is a revenge for betrayal of a friendship. I still tear up at the confrontation scene where Cassie locks herself in the bathroom and Maddie is outside saying I would've never done this to you.

Cassie is so stupid! Nate doesn’t love her, he loves how easy she is and how desperate she wants to be loved and her pleasing him and screwing him is all she does and she’s just a dumb trophy to show off. Maddy knows that both how Nate is which is why she got stronger, but now she also sees that Cassie has fallen for the same trap but is still fishing. Not to mention she doesn’t feel guilty about any of it, if she can get any man’s attention she’ll take it even her best friends ex. Who clearly in obsessed with Jules

Maddie got herself her own coat. A nod to season 1 when she was sleeping with Nate and he gifted her a coat. She’s now her own boss. On the opposite side of the coin to maddie who has to bm Nate for flowers.
