What's the catch? It's only 12v! Lol.
These Chinese batteries are amazing when they work — but if they don't, you become a hostage. I bought a DumFume 24V 100AH battery and it wouldn't charge above 26.8V, which tells me one or more cells are damaged or severely unbalanced. Long story short: I contacted the seller, who ignored my return request. I escalated to PayPal, and apparently they've changed their policies — I ended up having to keep the defective battery. Why? Because to get a refund, I would have had to ship it back at my own expense — to China. Return shipping was over $250 on a $330 battery. That's their trick: they ship to you from inside the US, but require you to return to China. The math makes it impossible to claim your money back. The "no-questions-asked guarantee" is a lie. Be prepared to fix it yourself, because the return policy is effectively worthless. For the ones reading, think twice before buying. If something goes wrong, you're on your own.

Will singlehandedly probably has done more for the consumer for solar products than anyone else. They mail him their product, and he gives the blunt truth unlike 99.9% of the other channels for any product.
I'd really like to see more options like this from companies in 24v.

Maybe they need to add a large thermal pad between the BMS and case. That would conduct much better

Seems like the Wattcycle 628ah battery would be easier. Nearly the same price. Doesn’t have an issue with 300 amps of discharge.
This is why I order with seplos bms in my pre-built orders.

The BMS settings are only incorrect because Andy hasn't made a video about it yet, and then, as usual, he pestered JK to change them in the new firmware version 😂😂😂 I have the 12V 4s Hakadi DIY-Kit for the EVE MB56 – it uses the same BMS. But I just haven't had time to test it yet 😅
That "mysterious" wire is for heating...
JK bms это одни из лучших бмс сейчас. Нет бмс на 12в, 24в или 48в! Есть бмс 4-8s и т.д. Кроме того они применимы к аккумуляторам с разной химией. Поэтому естественно, что при их использовании настройки нужны индивидуальные. Если это самосборка, то о каких настройках и работе с "коробки" может идти речь? Что за ерунда?
