Waterproofing computer components is very possible, and has been a thing for a while. It's also decently cheap. It's just that computer companies (laptop companies in particular) intentionally don't use the technology because they make so much money on liquid damage repairs.
As someone who destroyed like 10 of those Nokia’s by jumping in the pool with them while growing up. I can guarantee you that they aren’t waterproof
