I really liked this makeover. Not everything has to be a massive project. You made functional changes to the room, mostly using what was already there but still managed to make it look much nicer. I think a small stool/side table would have been nice. It could have been used as both a bedside table or just a side table if someone was using the bed as a sofa.

The Tool Library in Toronto is great. I was a member, until they moved out to the Westend. It used to be 10 minutes from my home and I paid a yearly membership and borrowed all sorts of things, including a powerwasher!

It’s always wild to me when interior designers buy random books to decorate, I wouldn’t want random books added in case I hate them haha!! But the room is lovely
I like it! But I do wonder, since it also needs to function as a place to store things, where the stepstool and guitar went. Like, yeah it makes a great before and after because the bulky, unsightly things disappeared. But where did they go? They are necessary items to have in a home. Great job working with such a small, irregular room overall.
The mirror makes me feel so validated. 2 weeks ago I convinced my mom to let me hang her giant gold mirror in her new home office because it was visually interesting, reflected more light, and was just the right vibe.
