In a vaccuum, they can coexsist. But we don't live in a vaccuum. We live in the world where in order to make Marathon, D2 PvP had its team cannibalized and was treated like Gambit. And then they laid off half the studio.

If sony actually drop D2 for Marathon then they are just as dumb as Bungie if not more. It is obvious that D2 will see way more success than Marathon. This shouldn't even be a question.
