The built-in multiplayer is veeery much appreciated. Aswell as being able to now constantly erupt the geysers! I do think the icons in the main menu/pause screen are placed a little odd though imo.

I do hope copper grates, mangrove roots, and maybe leaves get the ability for sulfer particles and geysers to pass through them. It’s a little thing that would feel very gamey in a good way.

The reason why you can't add your alts is because there is a button in the online settings that turns friend requests on and off. It's set to off by default.
