Jezza bringing the quality literature. The Very Hungry Catapiler is an absolute masterpiece.
The Rover 75 was the last mass-market British car manufactured when it ended production in 2005. What a sad thing to end on.
Tonight! - Richard drives a dead tree. - James drives a car slower than himself. - And Jeremy reads a book!
'It's just a car they forgot to stop making in the 40s' always makes me laugh 😂
This time I agree with Captain Slow. Classy Rover.
23yrs ago - where did the time go.... or Noble for that matter.... or Rover. I guess Morgan did win after all...
Buffeting
“That is a bathroom appliance”
"Bloody nearly fell out of it"
That Morgan is the car of a famous comic family in the Netherlands, spectacular stuff!
I'd buy the Morgan in a heartbeat. I just love the cool and settled down way they exist. You just don't need to go that fast some times! Also, the door mirrors of the Noble M12 look suspiciously similar to those of the Citybugs! You just can't get this off my head! 🤔
What a classic top gear. We have Richard making the zany and strange decision, Jeremy picking the fast and powerful one, and James driving a car for old people 😂
23 years ago I wanted the Noble. Now I agree with James 😂
"FOR THE ROVER 75!!!!" lol
They also got proper British weather on the day of shooting
But there`s only ONE left, isn`t? And that`s a LOTUS?
"I dont want to barrell..I want to waft" Words to live by.
Didn't remember this scene. I need to re-watch the whole series again...
Rover SD1. Classy, futuristic, gorgeous and outré (in original incarnation, before it was roided up into the Vitesse). Shame it had the reliability of Del Trotter.
