It’s not that I dont want my car inspected every year. It’s just I dont have a mechanic like you that I can trust. Mechanics in my area will just try to find everything he can to rip me off

Potholes is the reason on both counts. Driver awareness and avoiding Potholes would mitigate some of this.

But the more important question is WHO to get to do the inspection? You can't trust a stealership and the few honest mechanics are hard to find. People nowadays chance it because they can't afford to get scammed for thousands every time they visit.

I have a 2023 Toyota Carola Cross Hybrid S with over 30,000 miles. Just had the brake fluid exchanged. I love you Brother and appreciate what concerns you bring to your channel. Very thankful to be a subscriber to your channel and ways God has blessed me in learning new things you share on your channel. God is in the details when my car reached 30,000 miles in 3 years you explained how important it is for having my brake fluid exchanged and how to check it with a tool I ordered through an auto parts store. And other things just like you said about not reading our hand books fluids which need to be changed. I plan to keep my car a long time. I will share your video with the new service manager with Toyota so he understands where my concerns came from to have the steering or wheels checked for any wobble. I drive my car on interstates where turns are steep and miles per hr are reduced on ramps quickly from 40 mph to 10 mph and roads that curve sharply, which make me wonder about the stress placed on the steering arms and rims, when I come up to fast to slow down. God richly Bless you and your family in the Lord. Live long & prosper.

I agree with you but Im finding it hard to trust most of the mechanic shops where I live. Ive been taken advantage of numerous times over the years. How to find a trustworthy mechanic.

Caveat : annual inspection only with a trusted professional Or you will be paying but not receiving the worthwhile service

My dad replaced his original tie rods at 330k and did not baby it. They weren’t even bad. He bought it brand new in 2013 and he said it’s the best vehicle he’s ever had. I have an 11 too and it’s been great, more part replacement on mine since I’m lifted on bigger tires and go on trails more though

Too many potholes at high speeds and over rough RR tracks ,slow down for rough roads and rough RR crossings.Tie rod falls just hold on to steering wheel and steer to safe spot.

Hitting a curb is never good for tie rod adjustment.
