Lazy (lucky) me stuck with an old printer, a slicer I stopped updating two years ago, and OctoPrint on a derelict laptop tying it all together. It. Just. Prints. My intuition wasn’t off, however many details I couldn’t foresee, or ‘convenient’ features I obviously lack. I don’t miss any of them… (Thanks for sharing, Jeff…!)

If someone from Bambu reading this - YouTube recommended me this video because I'm looking for a 4-5 printers for my company, probably more in the near future if they will be good, and Bambu was on my radar so I watched a lot of videos here. But there is a competition (which is good) and a lot od brands and models to choose from. As a developer open source is important for me, but I really do not require from any company to support it. BUT making something opposite, fighting against it and harassing developers for some weird reason is unacceptable for me. I was decided to making a order but now I'm deciding to go with Prusa instead. Hope it was worth it Bambu! I spend resources to gain nothing at all and lose a money. Wow, good work!

I was about to get a Bambu, thanks for this video!!! Now I can FF through the all the Bambu sponsor segments. I was already gonna have to get around using their slicer.. saved me headaches I didn't even know were coming.

Genuine question, not trying to defend anyone here: if a tool was spoofing the official client ID to talk to the cloud, what should the company actually do? I keep reading the comments and most are about the principle, but I haven't seen anyone propose what the alternative response would've been. Open to hearing takes

Your content is for sure suppressed by utubes algo man. I just got into printing, and not once has your content sneaked through until I started filtering and searching for very specific results. Subscribed... Just bought my first printer. X2D, lol.
I had no idea about any of this, so thank you for the video. I have only just bought my first Bambu Lab printer and love it, but have now put it on dev and LAN mode and will use Orca going forward.
