Explains why some people still attack ATM screens with full force 💀
I ain’t THAT old but the ds handhelds used that kind of screen so sometimes I accidentally start pressing hard
“Now that only the boomers are stil watching.” LMAO
One of my favorite dad jokes is saying you can control someone's phone with yours, then showing them by using the corner of your phone as a stylus (assuming it's a conductive material)
Playtesting for my video game Stick Scholars is going to be live on Steam for 1 more week. Try it out with some friends and I'd love your feedback so I can make changes before the release this summer! Thanks to everyone who has already submitted feedback, I'll be using your comments to make some changes before the launch. Thanks!
You hooked me with that iPod milk
Keep in mind, resistive touchscreens still have benefits. Capacitive touch screens stop working properly or get ghost readings when dirty. As a result, resistive touchscreens are still made and used in many factory systems.
i know exactly how that feels, i've been playing on the 3ds for most of my life
Absolutely true. For me it was an easy switch though because having to press so damn hard on my phone annoyed the hell out of me. As soon as i tried the new touch screens it felt so much more natural to me.
“jammin your fingers like vanderbilt” cmon man the series just ended
It was real fun working in a factory with those old touch screens when you needed to shut off a pump in a hurry. Somehow the screens knew when the situation demanded urgency and would reliably ignore those inputs. 😳
I barely even owned something with a screen back when resistive was common and I still do it lol. There's something very instinctive (I guess from making a physical buttons analogous) about press harder = work more/better
I NEED TO FIX MY IPOD TOUCH!!!!
The hot dog finger caught me off guard
Ozzy! 😭 😫
Homie used wood stick's full government name
It works with bread too.
I still use resistive touch a decent bit because bank ATMs still use them here
So thats why my dad does that
