I don't know what it is exactly about your videos Etho, but they always brighten my day and make me smile. Regardless of what type of video it is or whether the video is objectively "better" or "worse" than your other ones, I still watch and it still brings joy to my day. Even if I'm burnt out on Minecraft I still watch; It's like it isn't a Minecraft video, its an Etho video, and that is different. Thanks for pouring your passion into 15ish (Dang, I'm getting old) years of genuine fun and entertainment.

I know you probably won't read this, but I don't have many people I can share this with so I'm putting this here: I've been watching you since I was 12, all the way back on Chocolate Island, and I just found out I graduated with top honors from my Engineering program. Your videos have helped me through a lot of hard times going through school, brutal breakups, family troubles, you name it. EthosLab has always been there to be a pleasant distraction, and I cannot express my gratitude for your continued "brand" of video that has evolved and gotten better, but also stayed the same after all these years. Thank you Etho. You're the best. Never change.

Everytime I start craving an Etho video one graciously appears

The idea of getting ship wrecked somewhere where there are umbrellas and places you can buy drinks is so funny

I think one of the reasons I still find myself coming back to Etho's videos is that his content reminds me of Youtube from 10 or 15 years ago. No click baity title. No weird facial expression in the thumbnails. No AI slop. No over edited short form content. Just a guy playing a game, talking into a microphone, taking us along for the ride. The videos are simple, focused, fun, and engaging. I never know when Etho is going to upload, but I can alway make time to watch the vudeo from start to finish. Thanks Etho. Your videos are always a highlight of my day.

Down in the lower layers of the black glass fog you should have a flying machine, maybe not dissimilar to the one that stops at Planet-express, periodically moving. Like some scary creature/mechanism lurking in the deep shadows. I'm not sure if it would need lights or emissive textures to be noticed at least some of the times in the corner of your eye

Modern Minecraft videos are crazy, 6:36 and he's already spent ~10+ hours off camera.

Maybe add a big circular vent on the wall for the fog to be spilling out of. like halfway submerged. I think the fog effect really gets cool when you can see elements of the structure fading away into it.

Making the hermits wash up on a popular beach with loungers, umbrellas and bars instead of a deserted one is kind of funny.

I have seen people create a very cool effect by putting lit candles between those black glass slices in random locations, making a starry void. Might not be the aesthetic for this specific building but a fun one to try.

I like the water next to the birch! Like a real beach, the darker, wetter sand is under the water. It makes a nice gradient under the water I would think
