Reggie I play so much Barony that my friends and family have unowned me and told me that Baron Herx is not a Lich and just an IRS agent but I KNOW what I saw. Every time I close my eyes I hear the dungeon ambience. I hear the skeletons rattling in my walls. My landlord says the sounds of boulders hurling towards me are just the radiator but then WHY did my kitchen floor launch a dart into my shin at 3 AM?? They think I’m crazy because I keep stockpiling cheese wheels and tin lanterns in the basement “for the descent” but when the Minotaur breaches the HOA perimeter they’ll come crawling back. THEY ALWAYS COME BACK. I tried to explain to my therapist that the succubus was real because she tried to charm and kill me and he just wrote “patient demonstrates dissociation” in his notebook. WRONG. THAT WASN'T A HOOKER I THREW INTO THE RIVER! Reggie, the food system has consumed my life. I cannot eat bread anymore without wondering if it will make me puke even though it says 4% chance! I knew It was bullshit and it was all planned from the start, thats why I started hungermaxxing IRL. I threw an entire rotisserie chicken at a CVS pharmacist because I thought he was a disguised goatman merchant. My family no longer allows me near any sort of item resembling any value after “The Incident” with me discovering the secret level my parents didn't want me to know about under the house. And don’t even get me started on the gnomes. Every time I hear tiny footsteps in the walls I know they’re scurrying with their damn lightning staves again. Society calls me paranoid. Society also said opening random sarcophagi was “unsafe.” WELL WHO’S LAUGHING NOW AFTER I FOUND A +2 FELT HAT?? I'D LIKE TO SEE THEM GO THROUGH THE WHOLE GNOMISH MINES AND KILL EVERY LIVING BEING THAT MOVES! I have become attuned to the dungeon, Reggie. Last week my smoke detector beeped and I instinctively yelled “FUCKING GNOMES!” before diving behind the couch. There is no escape from Barony. Every time I go to fight the twins, it reminds me of my PTSD from Dark Souls 3 Lothric and his incest with his brother. I miss that game but all I can find myself playing is by myself in this self imposed gnome nightmare simulator.

The funniest part about turning Pike into a drug addict is that it isn't even *that* good. Giving another vehicle another action IS good, but it's not like it was a completely OP strat, it was just mildly good considering you couldn't field another vehicle. So him just, idk, being sad about not being a Pilot and doing drugs is just very funny.
