Most memorable night club in a game for me is Heavy Rain. It's jam packed, a murder has taken place, and it's so damn hard to move through the crowd.

I'm surprised Vampire: The Masquerade: Bloodlines wasn't mentioned. Each part of the map has its own nightclub with specific music, and also has a mechanic where the player can dance along with NPCs. Which is impressive, since it came out in 2004.

Human Revolution's The Hive being yellow is not a problem. It's literally The Hive, bees are all the aesthetic there. And the game doesn't really have that piss filter, it's just has a very specific black and gold color scheme. What you could mention though, is that club from Far Cry 3 flashbacks. You can push buttons to dance there too
Starfield's Astral Lounge feels kinda like a 70's sci-fi bar like how Star Wars portrayed

As someone from Canada those 3/4 empty nightclubs are super realistic. The only time I've been to an actually crowded nightclub was visiting Las Vegas. Now the Irish pub or metal bar? Those are crowded!
I know you said Hitman 3 was going to represent its franchise but Hitman Blood Money’s Heaven/Hell nightclub from the second to last mission has GOT to be up there too!

I actually cannot believe you did not mention Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines which has one of the most iconic night clubs and which did so many things right years before most of the games on your list. Lots of NPCs to interact with, the right vibe, NPCs that moved, you could go on the dance floor and dance, the muffled reverb of the music when you moved to another part of the nightclub. Sorry, but you really dropped the ball with this omission!
