Personally I think that Zilisch did SVG dirty in the O'Reilly Race going low in the pitlane there.

Vintage SVG, he used to run that stratergy in Supercars. Run it late, pit after everyone to make the end, then just run through the field like their standing still. Awsome to watch. I would recomend watching his Supercars victory burnouts BTW.
There is heaps of talk about his last run....but really he set that up by being able to stay at the front and do 36 laps when most teams were struggling to get 25 laps on a set of tyres.
I would love to see Max Verstapin on a road course with Shane.
36:25 favourite section of racetrack. Mt Panorama, Bathurst. From Skyline down through The Dipper and the Esses to Forrest’s elbow. It’s a full-on balls to the wall rollercoaster ride.
Aussie here. SVG would have to be up there with the best of the best. Certainly one of the best.
I tried to explain to the wife that, it really shouldn't be a shock because he's a multi champion in V8SC except they drive 3 inches off the bumper of each other on tracks like this and they aren't allowed to touch! Really strict rules. He's a brain surgeon on the twisties, simple as it can be said. He really is like on a Verstappen level of car handling and driving where it's really driving that matters. Going in circles is a ballet or a chess match, it's all about tires and running the edge in kind of a trance. Completely different and a skill he's had to learn as truly a beginner. He's getting it! but, not sure there's enough road courses to win him a championship. What happened in Chicago that historic day? Nothing's changed man. He'll be in the record books a long time

Scotty mac used to beat up on SVG in supercars down under. Both of them in the same team would be totally epic mate
Not dissing on SVG, I think he's great but there is another driver that should be placed on the top shelf for road courses and that's Marcos Ambrose. He was often in teams that were not front runners and he performed on ovals surprisingly well.
Svg is the only person in nascar who can actually use their clutch
And now as a Aussie fan I would love to see him win on a oval
