The disrespect towards CHT is crazy. The lad gets out and gives everything week in week out and is by far the best defensive half in the competition at the moment. He’s earned his spot and every game he’s missed this year the defence has been shaky at best. If the warriors want Boyd to play 7, then that’s the position Metcalf would have to compete for because from the first half year of the comp CHT is the clear choice at 6. Someone who can impact the game without needing ball in hand.
Since he has been at the Warriors he's played 36 games and missed OVER 50 games due to injury. I don't think you want $900k sitting on the bench for OVER half the games that they're at the club. In any case all Warriors fans wish him the very best on his way

Boyd is the right choice of 7 for warriors. Kicking game is superb , what we always needed with our forwards and also we have Harris . And yeah Metcalf publicly saying he only wants to play 7 when Boyd been delivering the goods was not “ team” ethos .. look at RTS he plays anywhere he’s needed no complaints gives 100%

Warriors halves "pairing" don't forget that. CHT has been great at doing what needs to be done and isn't a liability on defence

Old mate has the order of things totally wrong. Metcalf openly came out and said he didnt want to play 6.... instead of wanting to do whats best for the club. Dude let his ego get in the way. He wants to be the hero, the man.
I just don’t understand why he cares about having the 7 on his back. One of the greatest halfbacks to ever play the game in Thurston threw on the number 6 to accommodate Cooper Cronk and others and still dominated the game just the same.
Lukey mets will have a special place with the wahs but he’s yet to play a full season for the team since signing over wish him nothing but the best

People forget the hype on Boyd before he came into the NRL. Unfortunately he signed with the titans, who are notorious for destroying young guns development.
