Gold Coast beed to go heavy after Metcalf. Run Campbell in 6 and Metcalf in 7
Its is also about availability Metcalf spends a lot of time injured .
I think Braith’s point is right on the mark with his assessment here. If Metcalf is not willing to be a clubman then it’s better for the club to let him go. There will always be a replacement for him.
congratulations dragons on picking up metcalf next year with drinkwater
Richie McCaw is best 7
It's lovely how you think that's what they think. When you lead a statement like that, you have no idea. I think, I think. At least Metcalf has done.
Younger players are in the wing Braith ya donut, Harry Inch and Jett Cleary, maybe not ready tomorrow but they are certainly coming through
TMM aswell
Metcalfs weakness is injuries Any smart investor would bet on the winning stats
Some points: 1) "Warriors don't have much depth in the halves" - not including Metcalf, we have Boyd, Harris-Tavita & Te Maire Martin, with Luke Hanson and Jett Cleary coming up behind. And behind them, Jye Linnane and Harry Inch. 2) over 6 seasons Metcalf has played like 43 games, he's that injury prone. Halasima is only 20 and he's played more games for the Warriors than Metcalf has. 3) Harris -Tavita is perhaps the best defensive 5/8th in the comp. He is also good at drawing the defender and has a hand in every try on the left side. And he's a left foot kicker, that's handy. 4) yes, we're losing RTS, Barnett and Niukore. But they're also getting up there in years. We also won the NSW cup last year, we have plenty of good players stepping up. We also have Wallbrick and Grant Anderson joining. Which means Khan-Pereira and Wallbrick on the wings. Can't wait to see that. 5) and yeah, why can't he play at 6? Plenty of legends have played 6. He played 6 with Shaun Johnson. Maybe he can play 7, but i think in the Wahs he'd be better suited to 6. Let his ball running talents loose, let Tanah worry about steering the ship. 6) I firmly beleive Boyd is better for the team at 7. Obvs the whole team has upped their game, not just Boyd, but while we were at a similar place on the ladder this time last year, our points diff was nothing special - we had a lot of close games. We have the 2nd best pd in the league.
Luke Hanson will be a great halves partner for Tanwah
He truly is the Flop Master 😂😂
Titans need him lol
Jett Cleary is the future Up The Wahs
Stay Calm & Have a great day everyone
Sure tanah controls the ball but without the teams defence they dont stand a chance metcalf or tanah dont become decent halves without there protectors
Metcalf injury prone and wanting to be this or that, just be fit and game ready. Metcalf returned and paired with Tanah but that combination misfired.
Metcalf could have been a ben hunt utility number 14
Metcalfs needs to earn it
Why can't they sign in CHT for another X2 years
