This is not just Ohtani's problem.Four wins and eight losses in their last 12 games, with nine of those matches seeing them score three runs or fewer… Roberts threw in the towel after the eighth inning! He should have shown some fighting spirit right to the end for the fans who paid good money to come and watch. I simply cannot understand why he’s playing Ohtani—who’s in a slump at the plate—at the top of the order. He needs a rest and a change in the batting order.
I don't think Ohtani is going to hit more than 20 homers this year.
