This movie really shows how some people use their style or attitude as a shield. It’s a beautiful reminder that when someone seems difficult to reach, they might just be protecting a soft heart that’s been hurt before. It takes a special, patient, person like Paul to see the sweetness hidden underneath that armor. ❤" I love how this story highlights that there’s often so much more to a person than what they show on the surface. Sometimes dressing a certain way or acting 'tough' is just a way to feel safe. Seeing Jenny finally feel seen and free from that internal weight from desperately wanting to please her dad and being and not wanting to get close to anyone for fear of losing them was so touching. Patience and genuine care really can heal anything. Sometimes the person who pushes everyone away is the one who needs love the most. It’s so powerful to see how being patient and digging a little deeper can reveal such a sweet soul waiting to be free. Sometimes hurt people hurt people so once we know more it changes the narrative and turns the focus from what’s wrong with you? Into what happened to you? Sometimes we need someone to go the extra mile no matter how we resist but don’t forget there is limit and even the most patient person has standards and a breaking point so be wise. Jenny was proud as she could be and Paul was a very understanding and straightforward. I enjoyed Chudy’s character Ebuka and Jenny’s sister Ibi and her mom. l appreciate all the work Omeche has been doing. Her versatility has been top-tier with all these dramatic roles but of course she will always find a way to bring any kind of humor to the surface. Omeche and Clinton are two of the best at acting.
