A car has been filmed driving inside a barrier-protected Auckland cycle lane, a move transport officials described as a serious safety risk that put cyclists and scooter users in danger.⁠ ⁠ Auckland Transport (AT) said it was very disappointing to see a vehicle using the dedicated lane on Ian McKinnon Dr in Eden Terrace.⁠ ⁠ The video was posted to social media on Saturday and appeared to show the car travelling behind the lane's physical barriers.
