I’m skeptical about the objectivity of documentaries made by Allied countries.

For about 40 minutes this is bearable but when it says "the German Navy bypassed the French Maginot Line" that was a real surprise to me who knows a fair bit of WW2 history. After that it goes downhill like an avalanche so I gave up.

It is highly unsettling that in todays world i am understanding more of the Nazi Regimes side of things. I think what they did is wrong and the death and war was the right course of action to annihilate that level of cruelty. Ridiculous how our governments bend a knee to the genociders when they fought these ones with such ferocity.
I was in Bavaria in 1986 and was talking with an older woman who went through this time and she said she was at a dinner party in about 1937 and a doctor made a joke about Hitler and the next day he was never heard from again. I also met a woman who said she was a child during the Third Reich and before class every day in Bavaria, her parents said to her, if you go to school and talk about what we say in this house they will come get us and you will never see us again. That was what it was like.
