Youth Training on Briquette Making & Seedball Production | Climate Action in Adamawa State
Across communities in Adamawa State, climate change continues to affect livelihoods, energy access, and environmental sustainability. Addressing these challenges requires practical, community-driven solutions. Through the Youth-Driven Environmental Sustainability (YES) Project, young people are being trained in eco-friendly #briquettes production and clay #seedballs making innovative approaches that promote sustainable energy alternatives and environmental restoration. #Briquettes provide a cleaner fuel option that helps reduce dependence on firewood and lower carbon emissions, while seedballs support afforestation efforts by enabling tree planting in degraded areas. By equipping youth with climate-smart skills, this initiative strengthens community resilience and encourages sustainable environmental practices. This project is implemented by @MuditaAidFoundation. Funded by the #europeanunion and supported by the #GlobalYouthMobilization under the #YouthEmpowermentFund
