National Youth Climate Activism Award with Luke Wallace

Hear from NYCAA Ambassador Luke Wallace as he shares why the National Youth Climate Activism Award exists and why youth climate leadership matters now more than ever. For five years, the National Youth Climate Activism Award (NYCAA) has been amplifying inspiring stories of young people across Canada who are taking action on climate change and environmental awareness. Since 2022, NYCAA has celebrated over 43 youth leaders and awarded more than $40,000 in prizes. The 2026 Submissions Portal opens February 2, 2026 and closes on Earth Day, April 22, 2026. Canadian students under 20 can apply by submitting either a short essay or a video sharing their climate action story.
