Parker Morrison, a 2023 National Youth Climate Activism Award recipient from Kamloops, British Columbia, shares what the NYCAA community has meant to her and reflects on the impact of youth-led environmental action across Canada. Parker received the award for her Riparian Restoration Project and is now studying Biology and the Restoration of Natural Systems at the University of Victoria. Through her studies and field experience, she continues to take part in restoration initiatives across Vancouver Island.
