Revolutionizing Indian Education System | Ground Report by Dhruv Rathee

Creativity, Confidence, Critical Thinking are not something that you would expect to learn in an Indian government school. But this is changing! In this ground report, I visit two government schools in Delhi to see the implementation of a revolutionary scheme - The Entrepreneurship Mindset Curriculum that is being implemented in all government schools of Delhi for classes 9,10,11,12. It was introduced by Kejriwal govt in beginning of year 2019. This curriculum, revolutionises the Indian Educational System by focusing on teaching life skills, abilities and qualities that a student needs in his career and normal life. There are no books to learn from, everything is taught by practical lessons. I go inside the classroom to find out what they are actually teaching here! I also interview five different people responsible for the designing and implementation of this curriculum to understand if it can be successful in change our Indian education system’s rote learning and excessive studying for good.
