Through restrained and meticulous storytelling, it portrays Queen Elizabeth II’s journey from a young princess to a reigning monarch, and the difficult choices she must make between personal emotion and duty to the nation. Set against real historical events, the series weaves together internal power struggles within the royal family, fractures in marriages, changes in prime ministers, and shifts in global politics, revealing how the institution symbolized by “the Crown” shapes—and often constrains—individual lives. Beyond its grand historical scope, “The Crown” focuses on the inner loneliness and struggles of its characters, showing how royal privilege comes at a profound emotional cost. With its exquisite production, outstanding performances, and deep character studies, “The Crown” stands as an epic exploration of power, responsibility, and the human cost of wearing the crown.

I love how the staff are more offended than the royals themselves 😂
At least when the Kennedys didn’t follow the etiquette rules, they did it with grace.
This is the exact moment Dexter became the Buckingham harbour Butcher
Meanwhile, after Kennedy was assassinated, the Queen honored him and Jackie by lowering the flags half staff at all royal residences.
Dexter truly is the Bay Harbour President
Dexter and Doctor hanging out at the palace is such a fever dream
This actress was my favorite Queen Elizabeth.
JFK should have known better. His father had been ambassador
Reality: Both of the Kennedy's did call the Queen and King by their correct titles, there no proof or rumor before the show that either one of them made any mistakes. The real drama was the Jackie insisted in invited her sister, Princess Lee Radziwill, and her husband, which the royal family didn't like since they were divorced. The Queen eventually gave in, but then didn't invite Margarete or Marina, who Jackie said she wanted to meet.
Dexter is there for Prince Andrew. He took help from the Doctor to travel back in time.
At least the doctor is there to help him out
‘It’s over… The Queen knows..’
Dont expect your former colony to obey your rules again lol
Jackie was known to be knowledgeable about such courtesies. Try not to believe everything you see on TV.
I hated how Jackie Kennedy was portrayed in this show. They portrayed her as a dim witted beauty who gossips. That is not who the real Jackie Kennedy was. Jackie was intelligent, fully aware of traditional etiquette & attire. Matter of fact, Jackie didn't meet Elizabeth in strapless gown. What's also false is Jackie negatively gossiping about the queen. Jackie never said one negative thing about the queen. Jackie told friends that she was unimpressed with the surroundings of the palace. The show has admitted to making up the bit about Jackie gossiping about the queen behind her back
That’s when the world learned JFK was the Bay Harbor Royal Bungler
If people see this and don't realise how ridiculous "royalty" is, there's something wrong with them
Your never as important as you think you are..
I have a feeling this is all BS. If anyone would known how to approach a head of state it would have been Jackie Kennedy.
From the outside all the stupid protocol looks so ridiculous.😂
