I put in my headphones every night so my boyfriend can fall asleep peacefully. He's never even asked, I just do it out of respect.
Just the single interaction of being asked "Why'd you lie about moving the sock" and responding "I didn't have anyone over" is 25 red flags in itself.
Kris gives me sassy aunt at thanksgiving vibes…AND I LOVE IT
Okay I just started the first story but I canbot believe the NERVE of this woman to call her boyfriend inconsiderate for this. Insane
My husband and I met online in 2003, long before dating apps. We met in a text based MMORPG. Kinda like D&D, but all the players are typing out their responses. So we were WELL on our way to learning each other's "weird". When you don't ever expect to meet someone in person, you find yourself being way more open. We had four years of talking online and eventually on the phone. We eventually established "Potato Salad" as a code word for "I love you" because I refused to admit it until I actually met him. He's terrified of flying, but he flew all the way from PA to meet me anyway. This October we'll have been married for 16 years and I still sometimes tell him "Potato Salad" just because he's mine and I can. We're not always perfect, but I couldn't ask for a more complimentary mate in life. TL;DR: Get to know someone's weirdest side and make sure it's compatible to yours.
THE GRASS IS GREENER WHERE YOU WATER IT FOLKS❤😂
She is like the type of person who you don’t know but can gossip over coffee for hours about toxic exes
Under a 2 hours kings and queens 👇
Me and my boyfreind have a great relationship Kris: doesnt sound like it... *Continues like she never said that*
My father snores, and so my mom can't sleep with him snoring in the same bed. My mom is also very much a night owl, whereas my dad is a morning person. So, they've slept in separate beds for yeeeeeeeeeears and they're still happily married. Point is either the lady in the first story compromise for her partner or just accept that maybe the boyfriend is right and they can sleep in separate rooms. It doesn't have to be a death sentence for the relationship, although their specific situation sounds less mutual than my parents'.
My (now ex) girlfriend told me she didn't want to date me anymore so she can see other men and explore her options. However she wants me to stick around to be her emotional support and doesn't want me dating other women because she doesn't want to "lose me". Sometimes you need to cut someone loose nomatter how much it hurts because staying in a toxic relationship is much more harmful.
0:10 she's starting to even look like Caleb lol
The one about the "my boyfriend can be inconsiderate" but she won't put on headphones for him to sleep in pissed me off SO MUCH. When I was with my ex, he would play videos of abridged anime he liked directly behind my head at FULL VOLUME and FULL BRIGHTNESS at 2-3am, knowing full well I needed to be awake for work at 6am to get me and our daughter ready, bring her to his mother to baby sit (because gods forbid i leave her with her father while I'm at work, because he would complain and blow up my phone) and then be at work at 7am. It ENFURIATED me to no end but when I'd complain he'd just ignore it. Now, when I go to bed with a partner, if we aren't watching something TOGETHER on one of our phones, I turn my brightness all the way down and my volume all the way off. I don't scroll on tiktok or youtube or things that are videos with audio. I scroll on Facebook, looking at pictures or playing games i can play without volume. I love listening to music as I fall asleep, but I don't want to disturb my partners, so I have special side-sleeper headphones so I can listen to music while sleeping and they work as a mask to block light because when a light turns on or a phone screen turns on, I wake up because of it.
U know it’s good when Kris posts Reddit.
THE BOYFRIEND IN THE WEIRD SPORT IS 100% IN PICKLEBALL!!!!
1:36 me compromising and wearing headphones, but still busting out into loud laughter after watching something funny 😂
1:53 many couples sleep in separate rooms for this exact reason, not everyone has the same sleep habits. Sometimes people also need their space to decompress. Sleeping in separate rooms isn’t a bad thing at all, and if you’re worried about intimacy…. Play a game of sneaking around the house pretending you’ll get caught sneaking into each others room, idk seems fun.
13:48 my guess is it’s disc golf. i wish i didn’t know from experience 😅 very niche, but also really fun. i actually enjoy playing, which has helped a lot. but very time/life consuming if SO is serious about it
15:49 if you're comparing your partner to someone else and wishing for it to be different, you aren't in "a good place" like you thought you were. I'm not saying it's bad, but you clearly want a little more excitement maybe? This is where really addressing your relationship and communicating with your partner can be super helpful! If something is bothering you, express it to him, or offer to try new things that you want to do, don't rely on him to come up with all of the new things. You're in this together. And yeah, you don't actually know this other guy, he is a fantasy- not the man that has loved you for 5+years. A great relationship is indeed stability and comfort. That is always better than the unknown and excitement. (This would be different if she was actually miserable and hated her partner) God I'm so glad I never had to date (been with my husband since we were 14, first and last bf, 21 years later he's still my best friend)
0:20 i love u more
