Walking away is hard, but choosing yourself is powerful. Healing from toxicity is not just about letting go of someone else, it's about finally holding on to yourself.

Great message …. Healing from our childhood wounds is such an important and much needed topic… We need to do a better job as a society of protecting kids and offering resources. With social media, it seems that our kids and teenagers have even more opportunities to suffer injuries to their self esteem and sense of identity from the hands of their own peers. It breaks my heart to hear of the kids that are so wounded that they even end up hurting themselves or others.
It’s so important to break the chains from generational toxicity. Thank you Dr. Lacy.
Breaking the chain of toxicity is so very important to health and well-being. Brava on your great talk!
If you want to be in a healthy relationship, stop using “that’s just the way I’m” as an excuse. Love is never a reason to justify harmful behavior. True love requires self-awareness & growth. Work on your toxic traits, practice clear communication even when it’s uncomfortable, & listen actively to understand what truly matters. Remember: relationships are a two-way street. If you refuse to grow, you risk working against the relationship instead of strengthening it. Love is not a license to stay the same, it’s a call to become better.
Getting out of toxic relationships and avoiding them makes for a much happier life. Great information Dr. Janie!
This is so important. These are the pillars we all get to have in our lives!! Thank you for this talk Dr. Lacy!
