I’m feeling very tired and in need of a nothing g day, or a mental health day as I’m calling it,a day to just be and do what I need to recover mentally. In this vlog I’ll chat to you whilst doing a painting as I’ve managed to get back to enjoying putting some paint down after a long break in artistic flow. My conversation gets a little deeper as I talk about my mum, a difficult subject but as you’ll see I’m coming to an understanding of her struggles through life and how she has found herself where she is . Please join me for my day at home and an intimate chat. you enjoy my vlogs and would like to support my channel, please consider subscribing and if you'd like to buy me a coffee, which would be lovely and very much appreciated there's a link below 👇 https://coffee.ee/ThemuddledMagpie If you’d like to work with me my contact e-mail is [email protected]

I lost my little soul mate a couple of years ago. It broke me. I cried/sobbed/wailed every day for about 5 months. I still well up when I see pix of her. As for the RSD - yeah bigtime! As for wondering why I borher with a YT channel - yeah that too. Although I literally only have less than 10 subs, so invisibilty and worthlessness is real for sure.
I genuinely think you say a lot that many of us can relate to one way or another. Never doubt yourself by being open and honest. It’s a good trait and very appealing to listen to 😊
I lost my soul dog just over 2 years ago too he was also 15, a black spaniel - I’m still learning how to breathe without him. I have three dogs, two spaniels and my little girly from Thailand, a typical street dog. Whilst I adore them, my H was my world, heart and soul. I totally understand how you feel about your Tilly (and I believe with all I am we’ll meet them again 😊) Our brains can be right &£*+s to us sometimes. With my AUDHD I spend half my life reminding myself of that. I really appreciate your vlogs, as you are so very similar to me, it helps me realise that I’m not the only one feeling this way. So try not to doubt yourself, you’re making others feel not so alone 💚
Yes, I do know exactly what you're sharing. And I love your video journals.
I love your vlogs Debs….i also had a difficult relationship with my mum. She was narcissistic, and her later years after my dad died were extremely difficult for me. Sending love. ❤️
Hi Deb! Firstly, I love your painting of Tilly, you really caught her spirit there for sure. I love your idea of a "nothing day" - we should all have one regularly! I also like your idea of talking to yourself (I do that a lot) but I've never thought of filming it - an interesting form of self-therapy I think I might try. I love your big bold paintings, I was shouting at the screen - mix the greens! Also, I love your videos, stop that self-doubt!
We are all in this together just trying to work it all out. Talking can help and for me singing and movement xx Thanks for your honesty Deb xx
I thought you was 19 b you are beautiful I'm shocked well done hope you all have a lovely night o bless her shes beautiful i bet she missed all of you ❤❤❤❤❤
Self doubt creeps in ,thank you for baring your soul and sharing so much. I can empathise a bit as my dad was autistic and unable to express his feelings towards me. At his funeral his life partner told me how much he had loved me he just wasn't able to tell me. My daughter has been diagnosed with autism, ADHD and anxiety, my son is also autistic and has communication issues with us.. I muddle through somehow but some days are a blur. Please know how much you help by being so honest. It must be very hard to put your emotions and struggles on a vlog. Ancestral trauma s very real, only not talked about much. We carry so much as adults, especially mothers. Art is definitely my saviour. I would love to see some of your artwork, please don't feel its narcisistic showing us ,its something genuinely interesting and non judgemental. I wish I could give you a big hug! Someone recently did that very unexpectedly to me and it made such a difference to my day just knowing that they had seen I wasn't coping. Life sucks sometimes and in equal parts is amazing, just very confusing.
Communication and connection, two such important things ❤
45:30 not narcissistic at all. I totally get it - I feel the same when I edit my videos!!! I especially notice how many times I never finish a thought 🤣🤣🤣 I've had my channel for 2 years and I have grown so much I am hardly recognizable from my first few videos - even from just one year ago... I'm so happy I clicked on your video today thank you ❤️
😘🤗💝
Hi Deb hyped and liked. Just wanted to thank you so much for this raw honest chat. It’s was as if you were talking about me! You are so brave and it’s so important to share this stuff to enable others to accept That we Need to talk and open up and normalise it. I also lost my soul dog and miss her so much but am so grateful that I had her in my life. Your art is beautiful. Take care lovely xxx
I hear you, I can relate to so much that you have talked about here, thank you for being so open and sharing personal things, I’m not good at sharing but have just joined an outdoor women’s group and I’m slowly but nervously starting to be more comfortable sharing , many blessings to you and yours 🙏
Beautiful share, thank you Deb. I have so much empathy and admiration! My mum & I walked very similar paths ( I grew up around Glastonbury also) & I relate to witnessing her not being understood, judged, many mental health challenges and finally finding my own way to an AuDHD diagnosis in my now 30's. It's like starting over as a new born baby; finding what feels good, setting boundaries and working with sensitivities rather than suppressing my entire being. It's also helped me view my mum and out history in a whole new light, she too is flamboyant, quirky and full of love for all the right things. Modern life is very overwhelming and overstimulating but at last our minds are opening, many awakenings happening all around. Mega cool. Autistic, highly sensitive women are incredibly powerful and the world will be a better place once we learn to walk in our power, no longer hiding in the fearful shadows of so-called society. Big love & congrats on 2K! You've created a wicked community 🧡
25:17 "although previously it's not been therapy it's been torture" forcing myself to do something because I think I should has been the bane of my existence 🥺 you are so relatable to me it's crazy...
I’m so happy for you that you have Joe. I can totally relate to what you’ve chatted about in your video. You’ve got so much to be thankful for Deb, including your noodles and sauces 😆 I’m currently having painters block and it’s driving me nuts! Keep being you x
Lovely spending time with you, thank you for the chat. Getting things off our chest really helps. I do it by writing it down 😊
It's really beautifull how clever no do it when you want to and have fun 😊😊😊😊😊😊 p
