You've reached the end
Absolutely. The fact that you want to get help for yourself should never be looked down on. There's plenty that may need or want the help, but societal stigma holds them back.
I call it a grippy sock vacation.
Periodt. It's not nearly as scary as the media portrays it to be
I grew up with my dad being in and out of suicide watch and mental health hospitals. He's an extreme manic depressive. He was the best father I could have ever asked for in the world, but he needed help. He still needs help and has to take Meds daily. It's really hard to ask for help when you need it. It's really hard to seek out help when you feel defeated. You should be proud of yourself
I've been 3 times. It's definitely a reality check that your not doing that bad 😆
I felt that, "Wait a minute...it might not be that bad...".
Heck yeah! I was in for 8 days once. Felt like a month but I really needed it. They straightened me out and I started to feel better. It's terrifying at first. I cried and cried thinking how can I escape but they take care of you. All your decisions are made for you for a little while. Your schedule is planned for you and all you have to do is focus on your therapy. The outside world disappears for just a little while. Nobody should ever feel ashamed for needing some help. Thank you so much for sharing this ❤❤❤❤
I was there for a month and the funny thing is I thought I was there for like 3 days or maybe a week at most until someone corrected me. It helped. But I blocked a lot of time out I guess.
It’s actually a really good feeling. Knowing I’m doing something positive for my well being 🌸
Nothin to realign your chskras like a grippy sock vacay
It’s very true.
I'm not even mad at this❤❤
So agree it's not like back in the day, it's a place of healing and honestly, I'd perfer to go crazy in a safe place away from people who don't understand the situation or even put others in harms way whether seeing me in pain or verbally.
I've been a few times I'm schizophrenic and they helped me so much. Someone already said it but it really isn't as scary as tv.
I could use a lil grippy sock vacation, if I'm being honest 🤷🏾♀️
Beautifully said
I absolutely 💯% agree.
I absolutely agree !! ❤❤ sometimes I just stay in my house and be like. Why don't I want to leave? And then I realize cause it's my safe place , and that's okay 😊😊
I love a good grippy sock vacay!
Exactly ❤❤❤❤
