In this video, I share how daily outdoor walks helped me feel less stressed, improve my mood, sleep better, think more clearly, and notice changes in my body composition without extreme workouts or dieting. After moving from Vienna to the US, I went through a lonely season and started walking as a simple way to clear my head. It slowly became one of the best habits for my mental health, energy, and consistency. If you’ve been feeling stuck, stressed, or not quite like yourself, starting a daily walk might be the easiest healthy habit to try. 🎁 Free Anti-Aging Guide: 5 small habits you can start today → http://freebie.mgmfashion.com ▶ Watch next: 9 lessons every woman should know by 40 → https://youtu.be/2dvtql1RFVc?si=nE_uMZb39lobLV9I #walking #healthyhabits #mentalhealth #weightlossjourney #over40fitness

I completely agree. Walking has become my medicine. I have been consistently walking for almost a year. I’ll be at 850 miles in the year
Seeing the bright sun hitting the dense green leaves and tress is such an amazing sight (japanese word for it is 'komorebi'), sounds of birds chirping and forest streams is such a potent life fuel.
I am 71 and also started a month ago and now walk 1.5 hours every morning. My body and mind have completely changed. I crave it now.
Walking is very good, I'm a young 71 and in 1998 I was in a motorcycle accident I woke up 3 days later from a drug induced coma and paralyzed from the waist down my right leg was separated at the knee a broken neck and back I was 45 very active now I wondered what life do I have, 2 weeks later a team of surgeons entered my room and said they could help me and asked if I was willing to go for it, I thought a minute and said what do I have to lose. I will be 72 in October and I still ride my Harley and walk regularly.
Walking has quietly changed my life too. There’s something healing about fresh air, sunlight through the trees, and simply putting one foot in front of the other. Some of my clearest thoughts and calmest moments happen during walks 🍃 . Even Mina’s Moments is mostly about walking with me in Nature❤️
Sometimes I feel lonely walking alone.
This is so very true. Walking every morning with my two dogs in the beautiful bush and the smells and sunshine is a habit l have embraced for years. I will never give it up, it keeps me sane.
So true, it's amazing how walking can make us feel so much better. It definitely lifts my mood. Thanks for the reminder, I will go for a longer walk tomorrow. 🙏💕
I feel lonely and anxious walking alone in the park. I walk to YouTube videos at least 4 days a week to get 10,000 steps. I’m sure the effects aren’t the same :-/
Mother Nature is the personification of nature as a powerful, nurturing female figure, embodying the life-giving, regulatory, and sometimes chaotic forces of the natural world 💚
Solvitur ambulando...It is solved by walking. :)
I’m inspired!!!❤ I need to start. Time with God and nature. Thank you!!
I’ve been walking for years, however, I make sure I do it every day now w/our dog, weather permitting, due to having a heart attack 3 years ago. 30 minutes of cardio a day at a local park does wonders for you mentally, physically, and especially emotionally. You mentioned you’re from Vienna—Austria is THE country in Europe I hope to visit in my lifetime, along w/their neighbors, Slovakia + Bavaria 🇦🇹 🇸🇰 🇩🇪 Fell in love w/Innsbruck in 3rd Grade during the ‘76 Winter Olympics🏔️⛷️ Good on you in your walking adventures: keep on keeping on hun😃👍🏻
